The Resinous Monolith

The Resinous Monolith

| High-Grade Malaysia Oudh Raw Material with Artisan Enhanced 368.1g
$18,000.00

"Time is the only artist we employ."

In the heart of the Malaysian rainforest, nature took decades—perhaps a century—to wound this tree and then heal it with precious resin. At MYSOUL WOODS, we didn't "create" this piece; we listened to it. This 368.1g specimen is a fragment of ancient survival, a bridge between the chaotic energy of the jungle and the silent sanctuary of your home. It is not a product of a factory, but a relic of time.

The Dialogue Between Nature and Man.

While the skeletal structure of this piece—the intricate "Chong Lou" (insect-carved) tunnels—is 100% the work of nature, we have intervened. The front surface has been Artisan Enhanced: hand-sculpted to accentuate the natural resin flow and provide a rhythmic visual texture.

We believe that pure raw wood can sometimes be "too wild" for a refined space. This enhancement isn't meant to hide the wood, but to honor its strength, making it a functional sculpture that commands attention in any Majlis or private gallery.

The Honest Sensory

  • Visual : A sprawling landscape of dark, resinous veins contrasting with raw, pale wood fibers. Under warm light, the "Artisan Enhanced" ridges create a shadow-play that mimics the shifting dunes of the desert.

  • Olfactory (The Raw Truth) : Unlike many "commercial" ouds that are silent until heated, this piece is remarkably vocal. You can smell the deep, woody sweetness even from the raw fibers.

  • However, be warned : This is a wild Malaysian profile. At room temperature, it carries a "jungle-raw" edge. It is not a clean, synthetic perfume. It is Earth. When heated as Bakhoor, it exhales a majestic, slightly medicinal sweetness and dark honey—but if you overheat the paler sections, you will encounter the scorched scent of raw wood. It requires a master’s touch with the charcoal.

Who is this NOT for?

If you demand "Untouched" nature : As we openly state, this is Artisan Enhanced. If you are a purist who finds any human intervention a sacrilege, this sculpture will not suit your collection.

Aquilaria Malaccensis is a vanishing resource. We prioritize transparency over steady inventory; when the high-quality harvest runs dry, our store stays empty until the next genuine find.

What is the return policy?
Since we sell 1-of-1 (one-of-a-kind) natural agarwood and every product is documented with strictly honest photography, we do not accept returns based on personal preference. Returns are only considered if the item is significantly different from the description or damaged during transit, provided an unboxing video is submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
How much are the shipping and customs duties?
All transactions are processed in USD. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight; however, please be aware that international customs duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Furthermore, as agarwood is a regulated species, your package may be subject to customs inspections, which is an unpredictable time cost we cannot control.
Can I purchase two identical agarwood pieces?
No. This is the "shortcoming" of natural agarwood: nature does not produce replicas. Every piece is a unique individual entity. We strictly forbid any deceptive displays and will never provide "identical" items just to increase sales.
When will I get my order?
Order processing typically takes 3-5 business days. International shipping times vary by region. Because we insist on legal compliance and obtaining necessary permits (such as CITES), the shipping cycle may be extended. If you require "next-day delivery," the cross-border trade of natural agarwood may not meet your speed expectations.
Is your wood "Wild-harvested"?
Here is our most honest answer: unless we can trace the source origin with 100% certainty, we will never use the "Wild-harvested" label. We value the integrity of our information more than attractive marketing jargon.
