The Ethereal Plume

The Ethereal Plume

| Artistically Enhanced Malaysia Oud Wood
$2,700.00

Nature’s Silhouette, Refined by Hand

This rare 163.1g specimen of Malaysia Agarwood is a celebration of organic form. While its striking feather-like silhouette was born in the heart of the Aquilaria tree, we have applied a minimalist artistic touch to gently refine its edges. This subtle enhancement removes excess soft wood to reveal the sharp, elegant "plumage" lines that nature intended.

The Honest Critique (Read Before Purchase)

At MYSOUL WOODS, we believe in 100% transparency. Please note the following:

  • Subtle Hand-Refinement : This is not a 100% raw "as-found" piece. About 5% of the edges have been professionally trimmed to accentuate the feather shape and remove non-resinous sapwood.

  • Medium Resin Density : This is not a "Sinking Grade" or "Triple Super" black-oil collector's piece. The resin is distributed evenly but is not saturated to a "jet black" level.

  • Subtle Aroma Profile : The scent is gentle, woody, and clean. It is not an aggressive "room-filler" but a sophisticated fragrance best appreciated in close proximity.

Why This Piece Belongs in Your Collection

  • Remarkable Presence (163.1g) : It possesses a surprising heft for its slender appearance. At over 160 grams, it sits solidly as a standalone desk centerpiece or a "scholar’s stone" for meditation.

  • The "Plumage" Grain : The natural resin streaks follow the wood grain perfectly, mimicking the fine barbs of a bird’s feather. The 5% refinement ensures these patterns are the star of the show.

  • Ethically Sourced : 100% genuine cultivated Malaysian Agarwood. No wax, no glue, and no artificial dyes.

CULTURAL STEWARDSHIP

Rooted in Malaysian heritage. We combine traditional selection techniques with modern transparency to bring the rare liquid gold of our rainforests to the international market.

SUPPLY FRAGILITY

Aquilaria Malaccensis is a vanishing resource. We prioritize transparency over steady inventory; when the high-quality harvest runs dry, our store stays empty until the next genuine find.

What is the return policy?
Since we sell 1-of-1 (one-of-a-kind) natural agarwood and every product is documented with strictly honest photography, we do not accept returns based on personal preference. Returns are only considered if the item is significantly different from the description or damaged during transit, provided an unboxing video is submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
How much are the shipping and customs duties?
All transactions are processed in USD. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight; however, please be aware that international customs duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Furthermore, as agarwood is a regulated species, your package may be subject to customs inspections, which is an unpredictable time cost we cannot control.
Can I purchase two identical agarwood pieces?
No. This is the "shortcoming" of natural agarwood: nature does not produce replicas. Every piece is a unique individual entity. We strictly forbid any deceptive displays and will never provide "identical" items just to increase sales.
When will I get my order?
Order processing typically takes 3-5 business days. International shipping times vary by region. Because we insist on legal compliance and obtaining necessary permits (such as CITES), the shipping cycle may be extended. If you require "next-day delivery," the cross-border trade of natural agarwood may not meet your speed expectations.
Is your wood "Wild-harvested"?
Here is our most honest answer: unless we can trace the source origin with 100% certainty, we will never use the "Wild-harvested" label. We value the integrity of our information more than attractive marketing jargon.
