The Crouching Monarch

The Crouching Monarch

| Natural Sculpted Malaysia Oud Wood Specimen 133.8g
$3,900.00

"Power in Stillness: A Testament to Decades of Rainforest Solitude."

True luxury is never loud; it is a whisper from the ancient world. This specimen is not a product of a factory, but a masterpiece of survival. Carved by the relentless elements of the Malaysian rainforest, its silhouette mimics a crouching tiger—the eternal symbol of hidden power and silent wisdom. At MYSOUL WOODS, we don't sell wood; we offer a fragment of Earth’s silent history.

Artisanal Refinement

Preserving the Raw Soul.

The form you see is 100% shaped by nature. To honor its "Zen Oriental" aesthetic, our artisans have only performed a Minimalist Dry-Polish. We used fine-grit abrasives to smooth the jagged edges of its "musculature," making it silken to the touch without ever compromising the integrity of its natural grain. It is a tactile meditation tool, balanced to rest perfectly on your desk or altar.

The Honest Sensory

  • Visual: A captivating interplay of honey-gold fibers and dark resinous veins. Under warm spotlight, the "crouching tiger" form reveals its muscular tension, with the natural bridge creating an elegant shadow play that shifts throughout the day.

  • Olfactory (The Truth): This is an Introverted Grade oud. At room temperature, it offers a faint, clean woody sweetness that rewards only the most intimate proximity. It is not an aggressive room-filler. However, when a sliver is placed on a Subitism burner, it unlocks a complex, "monarch" scent profile: notes of cooling camphor, followed by a heart of dark honey and sun-drenched earth.

Who is this NOT for?

  • If you seek "Sinking Grade" density : This piece is valued for its Artistic Form, not its weight in oil. It is fibrous and organic, carrying the lightness of a living spirit rather than the cold density of a stone.

  • If you want a "Scent Bomb" : If you expect your entire office to smell like a perfume shop just by displaying this, you will be disappointed. This is a meditative artifact meant for personal rituals and olfactory intimacy.

  • The Flaws of Nature : The "head" of the tiger features natural, splintered fissures. These are not defects; they are the scars of the jungle. If you prefer the sterile perfection of machine-carved wood, this wild specimen is not for you.

CULTURAL STEWARDSHIP

Rooted in Malaysian heritage. We combine traditional selection techniques with modern transparency to bring the rare liquid gold of our rainforests to the international market.

SUPPLY FRAGILITY

Aquilaria Malaccensis is a vanishing resource. We prioritize transparency over steady inventory; when the high-quality harvest runs dry, our store stays empty until the next genuine find.

What is the return policy?
Since we sell 1-of-1 (one-of-a-kind) natural agarwood and every product is documented with strictly honest photography, we do not accept returns based on personal preference. Returns are only considered if the item is significantly different from the description or damaged during transit, provided an unboxing video is submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
How much are the shipping and customs duties?
All transactions are processed in USD. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight; however, please be aware that international customs duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Furthermore, as agarwood is a regulated species, your package may be subject to customs inspections, which is an unpredictable time cost we cannot control.
Can I purchase two identical agarwood pieces?
No. This is the "shortcoming" of natural agarwood: nature does not produce replicas. Every piece is a unique individual entity. We strictly forbid any deceptive displays and will never provide "identical" items just to increase sales.
When will I get my order?
Order processing typically takes 3-5 business days. International shipping times vary by region. Because we insist on legal compliance and obtaining necessary permits (such as CITES), the shipping cycle may be extended. If you require "next-day delivery," the cross-border trade of natural agarwood may not meet your speed expectations.
Is your wood "Wild-harvested"?
Here is our most honest answer: unless we can trace the source origin with 100% certainty, we will never use the "Wild-harvested" label. We value the integrity of our information more than attractive marketing jargon.
